Rlg Communications Head calls on “Times” Editor
The Global Head of Rlg Communications Group, Alex Lu has paid a courtesy call on the Editor of the Ghanaian Times, Mr Dave Agbenu as part of his week-long working visit to Ghana.
Mr Lu who is based in Dubai assumed his present duty a year ago and has since been spearheading a major strategic transformation of the mobile phone manufacturing firm.
Briefing his hosts on the current happenings within Rlg, Mr Lu said a research and development outlet set up by the company in China in 2007 has begun yielding results which will be reflected in the next generation of products to be released onto the market in the next few months.
He said the company has been concerned with feedback from consumer of its products over the years and has put in place strategies to improve on quality, durability, value for money and efficient customer service.
Mr Lu who said he has travelled to 37 countries in the world praised the people of Ghana for their honesty, welcoming and kind gestures.
He commended the media for its support for the brand, saying the company is seeking stronger ties for mutual interests.
“Ghana has a good future. Your democratic credentials you propel economic growth”, he observed.
The editor of Ghanaian Times, Mr Dave Agbenu commended the company for its strides.
He however urged that company’s products be well-positioned as an African brand like it has been done in countries such as korea and japan to match up other products on the market.
